2. What we collect
You can browse this website without creating an account or giving us any personal details. We only receive personal data when you choose to contact us:
- WhatsApp, phone or email: your name and number or email address, and whatever you include in your message, such as your enquiry list, quantities, site location or delivery address.
- In-store purchases: the details needed for your bill, for example your name, phone number or GSTIN if you ask for a GST invoice.
The website has no sign-up, no payment page and no contact form, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
3. Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry with prices, stock and shade details.
- To prepare, deliver or hand over your order and issue a bill.
- To keep the accounting and tax records the law requires.
We use your data only for the purpose you contacted us for. We do not sell it, rent it or share it for anyone else's marketing, and we will not send you promotional messages unless you ask us to.
4. Data stored on your own device
To make the site work, your browser keeps a few small items in its local storage: your enquiry list, your light or dark theme choice and a saved copy of the product list. These stay on your device and are never sent to us. You can remove them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
5. Cookies
This website does not set its own cookies and does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Some parts of the site come from other services that have their own cookie and privacy policies:
- WhatsApp (Meta) when you tap a WhatsApp button.
- Google Maps: the map in our Contact section is embedded from Google Maps. When it loads, Google may set cookies and receive your IP address. Opening our location or reviews on Google Maps also takes you to Google.
- Birla Opus when you open the shade catalogue.
6. Services that help run the website
- GitHub Pages hosts the website. Like any web host, it receives technical data such as your IP address and browser type when pages load.
- Google stores our product list and product photos (Google Sheets, Drive and Apps Script) and provides the owner's sign-in. Loading the product list sends a normal web request, including your IP address, to Google.
These providers process data on their own servers, which may be outside India, under their own privacy policies.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages only as long as needed to handle your enquiry or order. Bills and accounting records are kept for the period required by Indian tax law. After that, we delete the data or keep it only in a form that no longer identifies you.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data of yours we hold and how it is used;
- correct, complete or update it;
- erase it, unless we have to keep it by law (for example, tax records);
- stop using it for a purpose you agreed to, by withdrawing your consent;
- let a person you nominate exercise these rights if you die or cannot do so.
To make a request, contact us using the details in section 1. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on it.
9. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, contact the owner of Mayura Trade Links using the details in section 1. We will reply as soon as we can and within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
10. Children
This website is meant for adults buying building and home-improvement supplies. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18.
11. Security
We limit access to customer messages and records to the people who run the shop, and we use the security features of the services listed above. No website or messaging service can be guaranteed completely secure.
